Ghana’s opposition accuses President Kiir of interfering in the country’s internal affairs to promote his government’s image.
The opposition National Union of Democracy (NUD) says the military has intervened in the elections, including a new vote in which the incumbent president, Mahamadou Issoufou, is not allowed to run.
The ruling party is also alleged to have tried to tamper with the results of the vote.
The NUD says it will hold a special meeting in the capital Accra on Thursday to discuss the elections and the constitution.
It says the new president will not face a free and fair vote.
