Fox News Channel (FNC) co-host Greta Van Susteren said on Wednesday that the network is not a “political organization.”
“I do not believe that the word ‘political’ should be in there,” Van Suster said on “Outnumbered.”
“If you think it’s a political group, it is not,” she continued.
“I have a very clear vision of what I want to accomplish.
We are a news organization that does not engage in partisan politics, that does our job and the best job we can.”
We are an American news organization and we are going to be a news and information organization for our country.
“Asked if she believes the word “political” should be included in the network’s name, Van Susters said she thinks “it’s not appropriate.””
It’s an opportunity for us to tell the American people what our mission is,” she said.”
The only way you get the American public to care about politics is to tell them, ‘You know what?
We are here for you and you know what this is about.’
“On Wednesday, CNN host Brian Stelter said he did not think the word political organization would be part of the network in the future.”
There’s been criticism of the word, ‘political.’ “
That’s not true.
There’s been criticism of the word, ‘political.’
There’s nothing wrong with that.
I think we’re a news operation that is not political.”
